From Barbie Clothes to Goose Shirts: A Lifetime of Canadian Creativity

Some people stumble into creative work.
I was born for it.

Before the honking geese, before the “Puck No!” slogans, and long before AI design tools… I was just a kid with a dream—and some very stylish Barbies.

👧 The Playground Entrepreneur

Growing up, my mom used to make clothes for my dolls. Beautiful, tiny outfits. I was so proud of them that I started selling them at school. That was my first taste of entrepreneurship—and I loved it.

I wasn’t just playing dress-up. I was running a business (in between recess and math class, of course).

👰 A Bridal Dream Realized

Years later, that childhood spark turned into something real. I opened a custom bridal shop, designing one-of-a-kind dresses for real people and unforgettable moments. It was creative, intimate, challenging, and deeply rewarding.

I learned how to take ideas and turn them into something wearable.
That skill never left me. It just evolved.

🧠 A New Chapter: Card Games & Chaos

Fast forward to one night around the kitchen table. A card game. Some laughs. A bit of political back-and-forth (as you do), and someone shouted:

“Puck No!”

I hadn’t heard that expression before, and it stopped me cold. I laughed—then I imagined it on a shirt. That was the spark. That was the moment this brand was born.

🤖 Building a Modern Brand (With a Goose or Two)

Today, I run this unapologetically Canadian apparel line using AI tools to bring my ideas to life. I’ve taken online courses, practiced, tested, failed, and kept going. I’m still figuring out Facebook.
But I’ve come a long way—and my kids are genuinely impressed.

I may not sketch by hand anymore, but I still:

  • Write every slogan
  • Guide every design
  • Choose every color, layout, and style
  • And wake up at 3 a.m. to jot down my ideas in a notebook (because my memory isn’t what it used to be—but my creativity is stronger than ever)

🍁 Why It Matters

This isn’t just a clothing brand. It’s a creative comeback.
It’s a tribute to Canada, to self-expression, and to the joy of building something that makes people laugh, feel proud, and sometimes, feel just the right amount of unhinged.

From Barbie dresses to goose threats, it’s always been about making something that speaks to people.

And this time, it honks.

✨ Thank You

Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you're wearing “Puck No!” to the cottage or repping “Gloves Off. Geese Out.” at a BBQ, you’re part of something truly Canadian.

I appreciate every like, every order, every honk of support.
Because this dream? It’s been a long time coming.
